I’m still thinking about how a cinematic universe came to be. I watched Loki& the season finale, and the whole MCU complex of about 13 years flashes before my eyes like a storyboard. Or was the cake a lie?! When it comes to time travel, parallel universes, alternate timelines, I’m always cautious because it’s hard, even almost impossible, to put it all together and connect the story perfectly. Regardless of individual films, the Marvel Cinematic Universe in general also addressed these issues and connected a story without giving clear answers. But after Loki’s first season finale, it looks like we’re going on a whole new journey.
The first information about Loki was the Marvel series, which I was most hopeful for Disney+ since the videos appeared. I wouldn’t say he’s fulfilled all expectations, but I’d say it’s very different. We watched a magnificent Loki, led by Tom Hiddleston, some of the side characters, especially Sylvie and Mobius, who contributed greatly to the story. And then there’s the T.V.A. that you can read in detail about what it is, and there’s no need to tell you again. Let’s see what this six-part first season has put us through and what will change in the MCU’s future:
Fugitive Loki
When the Avengers team first met, their ultimate goal was to stop Loki. So in essence, the MCU was none other than Loki, the first big villain. What time is of the moment, we’re going to talk about what Loki did to save the universe, or rather, to save himself and get the universe out of the way. I don’t want to spoil the surprises, but even if it’s not for loki, there could be spoilers for the Marvel Cinematic Universe going forward, all as ideas, theories or ideas. Otherwise, I’m afraid I don’t have the chance to go and read the scripts. That’s where Loki’s adventure begins after this Avengers fight, the Battle of New York. Loki, who took the Tesseract during the endgame and disappeared, is in a situation where he can’t get out of it with mischief. Even though he’s a fugitive in the real universe, loki is a prisoner where our adventure begins.
The first episodes of the show are a little slow. The first episode can get pretty boring, especially if you’re not a strict MCU follower. But don’t let that fool you, keep giving the show a chance. When TVA comes into our lives, it’s natural to be surprised at first because even the greatest force we’ve ever seen in the MCU, the Infinity Stones, is losing its meaning here. So we’re faced with a structure that transcends the perception not only of Loki, but also of the MCU audience to date. When we say parallel universes, timelines, variants, we think we’re watching Loki in the early episodes for a much simpler job. To capture a variant and bring it to the supreme justice of TVA! Of course, with the God of Mischief involved, it’s unlikely that progress will be that simple. Unlike a standard hero, Loki is very aware. So as the story progresses, thanks to Loki, we’re beginning to realize that something’s not right. Until the end of chapter three.

Whatever timeline and variant information we put in our pockets in the first three episodes, they all work for us after the fourth part. If the Loki series were a game, the first three episodes would be tutorials or epilogues. With episode four, Loki seems to be reaching the ultimate goal that’s been offered to us since the beginning of the series. But where loki is, concepts like absolute success or happiness don’t sound logical. In addition to Loki, our connection to Sylvie and Mobius is also growing after the third episode. The characterization part should be mentioned because many MCU fans are not satisfied with Loki’s character development. Loki, who we see in this series, has not seen his mother die in the Thor movies, he has not experienced Ragnarok, nor has he faced Thanos. So we have a 2012 Loki directly. That’s why his “accelerated” character development here may seem a little strange. But we only have six chapters and endless stories to tell. I’m not exaggerating when I say infinite, there are countless different timelines.
I think episode five was the most fun part of the show. It was like a surprise egg parade. It’s Easter, and the wonderful details in it have caused a lot of smiles for people like me who follow comic books. Especially the Thor detail and the Thanoscopy! Although the reference was not linked to the story, it was very entertaining details. Not only these details, but in episode five we also saw a lot of new Loki versions. I told you, variants are very important, and there’s an infinite universe. There’s an endless loki. We’ve already seen a lot of that in comic books. Classic Loki and Kid Loki are great. The detail of Crocodile Loki was one of the MCU’s successful humorous works. Since it would not be possible to have chaos in such a place with so many Lokis, episode five caused plenty of action and chaos both within Lokiland and TVA. It’s all about preparing for a weird, weird final episode.
Back to the Loki
You may have a lot of questions about the final episode we saw yesterday. You can read the TVA post above in response to some of these. If it’s to answer new questions, I say take a look here. At the beginning of the series, when we thought that the “holy timeline” was very important, that everything depended on it, suddenly we started to see the importance of free will. However, if you move one item, another item fills the gap. This simple but effective rule may be the most striking summary for the finale. As our beloved Lokis pursue “glorius purpose”, suddenly they come up with an unexpected name. I’m not going to talk about this person’s details so as not to spoil the surprises, but the MCU has done a very strange job of reconnecting everything again. While time and space intertwined, parallel universes burned heads, and this detail heighted the epicness of the final episode. Again, the reality as we know it has been destroyed.
However, from 2012 to 2018, Loki’s character development lasted six years. This time, in just six episodes, Loki went through a lot more and learned a lot more. Now we have a Loki who knows how the whole universe works. Under normal circumstances, I’d say Loki, as we know it, would come up with a much more insidious plan with all this information, but this time things are really different. Our neighborhood’s lovely God of Mischief is now a little more mature and has a truly lofty purpose. To give you an overview of the series; I think there was a lot of difficulty with the tempo. The dose of action was quite low and the dialogue scenes were quite plentiful. Of course, during this low tempo, we also had the chance to learn a lot of details in terms of the story, as something was constantly flowing in the background, familiar with the characters. That’s how we started questioning TVA.
In the series, we were able to witness Loki’s maximum power. Lokiland in episode five really has a special place in disney+ series. I’ve sorted the show out a little bit for the first three and the last three episodes, and we need to make a distinction for the last two episodes. It’s acceptable to “put up” with the first four episodes to see the last two episodes. Loki was actually viewed with a lot of sympathy as an audience. However, this situation takes on a whole new dimension in the series. “Understanding Loki or being understood by Loki” appeared in my head. Tom Hiddleston is really doing great work with this character. We’ve already seen season two approval at the end of the series, and it’s quite possible that we’ll see De Loki in Dr. Strange 2. With so many parallel universes and timelines and stuff, Sorcerer Supreme should take a look at it if you don’t mind.
Again, the entire MCU managed to come together without realizing what had happened. Finally, let’s give the whole first season a point by custom 8.5/10 just for the sake of the last two episodes. Otherwise, the first four episodes deserved a little lower. The third part, I think, was the most meaningless of the six episodes, which we found answers to. So, thanks to the beloved Gamers, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Loki or loki, he has to prepare for a new great villain. Keep everyone ready, including the Fantastic Four, because conquest is coming.
