Nvidia’s new DLSS update will delight RDR 2 players. With the addition of DLSS to the game, red dead redemption’s performance is said to have increased byup to 45 percent. With the arrival of the long-awaited update, Nvidia stated that “all RTX Geforce players” can play in maximum features without noticing the video card.
This means that a player with RTX 2060 will be able to play RDR 2 with 1080p resolution and 60 FPS with ultra settings on following the incoming update, Nvidia claims. Although it was released in 2019, the game pushes even RTX 30 series cards somewhat in ultra settings, and it is claimed that this update will also relieve the RTX 30 series.
Red Dead Redemption 2 DLSS update promises 4K 60 FPS
Nvidia explained what the next generation RTX series RTX 30s can do with this update through the 3060 example. The company expects an RTX 3060 to play Red Dead Redemption 2 over 60 FPS in ultra settings and 1440p resolution. To get 60 FPS in ultra-settings while playing with 4K resolution, rtx 3070 or a top card will be required.
Rdr players who downloaded the DLSS update will need to come to the Settings-Graphics tab in-game and open DLSS and take advantage of the update.
