In recent months, we have released a detailed video review ofResident Evil Village. These days, however, there has been a significant development about the game. Some performance and stuttering issues that have persisted since the game’s release appear to have been addressed with the Pirate version of Resident Evil Village. Looks like capcom’s own DRM is the reason these problems are happening.
Resident Evil Village pirate version in better condition
On July 9, the pirated version of the game was released by EMPRESS. Then some players who tested this version noticed that the pirated version of Resident Evil Village fixed the stuttering and performance issues that were in the original game. According to EMPRESS, capcom’s own DRM is the main culprit for the game’s problems. EMPRESS also claims that the game uses Capcom’s anti-tamper V3 and DENUVO V11.
“Fixed all in-game hangovers that occurred when you killed a zombie because we edited all the entry points of Capcom’s DRM, so most of these functions no longer work. These results will give you a much smoother gaming experience.”
In addition, the players who tested whether these problems were actually fixed said that their experience was very positive and that they did not find any stuttering problems. This may explain why PC players who have been asking for in-game issues to be fixed in recent months have not received an official explanation from Capcom. With the pirated version of Resident Evil Village, capcom’s little secret has been revealed.
