Todd Howard said the highly anticipated The Elder Scrolls 6 is still in a very early design phase. Which means there’s still a long way to go before the game comes out.
Bad news for those waiting for The Elder Scrolls 6
Director Todd Howard keeps his mouth shut about Elder Scrolls 6, which hasn’t been heard much since it was announced in June 2018. Howard said in an interview with The Telegraph that the game was still “in the design phase.”
Creation Engine 2, the game engine, will come with certain improvements, Howard said, adding that they are constantly testing the technology to make sure they can “remove everything they want to add to the game.” Howard said, “Every game comes with a number of technological advances. Therefore, we will also need to make some additions to Elder Scrolls 6 Creation Engine 2.”
Following Starfield’sbrief introduction during E3 2021, Bethesda allegedly focused on the Sci-Fi-RPG, which they planned to release in 2022. It is also allegations that new information about Elder Scrolls 6 could be announced soon upon Starfield’s completion.
Amid this veil of mystery, the rumors of Elder Scrolls 6 are not going away. Following its announcement at E3 2018, it is not yet clear where the game will take place. After nearly 10 years on Skyrim, Elder Scrolls fans are still waiting.
