11bit Studios announcedthat they will use the Unreal Engine graphics engine in all of their new projects. The company also released a promotional video with their own designed images on the subject and renewed this agreement, which was made by naming the video title “Unreal Engine for all our future projects”.
11Bit Studios to use Unreal Engine in new projects
11Bit Studios is a successful company that has done some of the most naïve work of the last period. The Polish-based company has previously shown a whole new side of the war with This War of Mine games and has been highly praised for this game. Then, in 2018, they signed a different game and came up with Frostpunk. In the game, which had a post-apocalyptic scenario, we went into the ice age and guided a community trying to survive with the decisions we made. Liquid Engine graphics engine was used in this game, which approached strategy and city building simulations in a different way.
As you can see above, this video does not explain which version of the graphics engine they will use. So it’s not yet clear whether it’s Unreal Engine 4 or 5. However, considering that it is a long-term deal, even if UE4 is used for the new project, a new version of the engine can be switched in the coming years. In addition, when we look at the video descriptions, it is stated that the images used belong to the new project, which has not yet been announced.
