CCO and Studio President Romain of Amplitude Studios announced that Humankind will be released without Denuvo. According to Romain, Denuvo had a negative effect on the game’s closed beta. Therefore, the team decided to release the game without Denuvo.
Romain said of Denuvo: “Our priority is always to provide the best possible experience for the players who buy our games and support us. Denuvo must never affect player performance. Therefore, we do not want to compromise on quality.”
Humankind will debut on August 17.
