Toby Saunders shared a video with Ray Tracing revealing what Final Fantasy X Remake/Remaster might look like in Unreal Engine.
To get the official Final Fantasy 3D models, Toby downloaded FF Skyrim modes and ran the files via Blender. In addition, fireflies were added as a fully functional, game-ready artificial intelligence. In addition, Toby used Metahuman for close-ups of Tidus.
All of the images were rendered from Unreal using 16-bit image sequences that Toby edited in After Effects & Premiere Pro.
