Blade Runner: Black Lotus, a new anime series based on the classic sci-fi film Blade Runner, will begin airing in the fall of 2021. Following the release of the Blade Runner 2049 live action film, Lotus was announced in 2018, but little was known about it. More details revealed at 2021 Comic Con @Home online event The series will be presented to fans with a co-production of Adult Swim and Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll also shared the Japanese dubbing of the show on his Twitter account.
Blade Runner: Black Lotus is being developed by Alcon Television Group and brought to life by Japan-based CG animation studio Sola Digital Arts.
