Sports Interactive and SEGA Europe have announced the start of a multi-year project to incorporate women’s football into the iconic Football Manager series. The result of this landmark work will not be an independent simulation of women’s football management. Instead, women’s football will be fully incorporated into fm’s living and breathing world. Managers will be able to take control of both men’s and women’s clubs.
The studio did not give an exact date for when the project would be completed. But the goal is to bring women’s football into the game realistically and as soon as possible. The development team wants to make women’s football as original as possible. This means that a launch date will not be announced until the standards are met.
