American McGee says he hopes one day EA will come to him with an offer to make a new play for the Alice series. What’s ingesting McGee is that the remake version of Dead Space has been announced. Among the potential IP resurrection options, the rise of Dead Space has boosted Alice’s chances, according to McGee.
“While I (and Alice fans) wished EA’s next horror project was the new Alice game, at least we’re moving forward in the queue,” says McGee.
“One day in the future, EA executives will shout “we need more products!” and someone will say, “Alice?” and that’s when we’ll be ready!” the famous game designer continued.
American McGee appeared with American McGee’s Alice in 2000 after joining Electronic Arts; and in 2011, the sequel Alice: Madness Returns was released.
McGee has previously said that he has created drafts of alice: asylum, the third game in the series, and that the game will cover Alice’s past, present and future.
