Publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developer NetherRealm Studios announced that Mortal Kombat 11 has sold more than 12 million copies worldwide. Total sales of the Mortal Kombat series have surpassed 73 million console units to date. Mortal Kombat Mobile, also released for iOS and Android, has exceeded 138 million downloads.
“We have the most passionate fans in the world and we appreciate the support they have shown us over the years,” Ed Boon, creative director of NetherRealm Studio and co-creator of Mortal Kombat, said of the sales figures.
Mortal Kombat 11 is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC and Stadia.
