During Take-Two Interactive Software’s financial conference call for investors and analysts, company executives indicated that a new announcement would be coming soon.
2K Games will announce an “exciting” new franchise later this month, which will be released in the current fiscal year, according to Karl Slatoff. This means that the game will be released by March 2022.
Chief Financial Officer Lainie Goldstein: “Big games like NBA 2K, Grand Theft Auto Online, Grand Theft Auto V are among the biggest contributors to the fiscal year. In addition to these games, I think that productions that have not yet been announced will contribute greatly to this fiscal year.”
This suggests that Take-Two’s un announced games are quite large, and that the new franchise to be announced this month could be among them.
