Mobile game publisher Netmarble has announced it will buy mobile casino game developer SpinX Games. Netmarble will buy 100% of SpinX Games’ shares for $2.19 billion.
“We are very excited to make a share purchase agreement with SpinX Games,” netmarble CEO Seungwon Lee said.
“Through the acquisition, Netmarble will add the social casino type alongside the existing RPG type. However, we hope to strengthen our competitiveness in the global mobile gaming market.”
Founded in 2014, SpinX Games has developed games such as Cash Frenzy, Lotsa Slots, Jackpot World, which offer numerous casino games and in-app purchases but are not gambled with real money.
