Publisher Eastasiasoft and developers Softstar Entertainment, DOMO Studio and Yooreka Studio announced that Xuan-Yuan Sword VII will debut both physically and digitally for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in september. The game will support subtitles in English, French, German, Spanish and Russian. Physical versions will be distributed by Maximum Games.
The latest game from the long-running franchise was first released worldwide on October 29, 2020, for PC on Steam and then for PlayStation 4 in Japan on December 10.

Xuan-Yuan Sword VII is an action role-playing game from a third-person perspective.
Based on Chinese history and mythology, the game is set in China 2,000 years ago. The developer team will try to reflect ancient Chinese environments, humanity and culture. Players will take on the role of a cold-blooded and reliable swordsman named Taishi Zhao. Taishi Zhao will embark on a journey to protect his family and uncover the truth of this chaotic environment.
Active abilities will offer a combo-based real-time action gameplay that takes elements such as quickly escaping, blocking, and responding to an attack. Also, thanks to the so-called Elysium Rift, Taishi Zhao will be able to slow down time and change the physical properties of the objects around it.
