Embracer Group continues to purchase a gaming studio. Embracer Group, a Swedish-based company, announced the inclusion of eight new gaming studios, including 3D Relams, the production studio for Duke Nukem games, according to a new statement. With these new acquisitions, the company has once again shown that they will continue their investments in the gaming world.

In fact, the company made its name with the most THQ changes. The company, previously known as THQ Nordic AB, continued to grow in a short time and began buying studios. New studios have been acquired, including Duke Nukem studio 3D Realms and Ghost Ship Games, which recently made its name with Deep Rock Galactic, according to the company’s official website. The cost of this bulk purchase was also estimated at about $313 million. Of course, it has been reported that additional payments will be made to the studios if the expected targets are kept, which could rise by as much as $232 million.

Commenting on the acquisition, Lars Wingefors, co-founder and CEO of the company, said, “We are excited to welcome over 500 great talents. We still have a strong balance sheet with a large net cash position to support forward-looking mergers and acquisitions. We are continuing many ongoing discussions with entrepreneurs, creators and companies to join the family, including large or transformative companies,” he said, adding that the acquisitions will continue.
Embracer Group has more than 240 different IPs in more than 40 countries with these new acquisitions. In addition, the number of employees of the company is said to be more than 8,000.
