Focus Home Interactive today announced the acquisition of Streets of Rage 4 publisher Dotemu. Focus bought 77.5% of the France-based company’s shares for €38.5m as it aims to expand its game development assets.
“We see Dotemu as an important step in accelerating the growth of our group and diversifying our expertise,” said Christophe Nobileau, CEO of Focus Home Interactive.
In addition to the acquisition announcement, Dotemu CEO Cyrille Imbert joined focus home interactive’s board of directors.
Also earlier this year, Focus Home Interactive acquired Streum On Studio, the developer of Space Hulk Deathwing.
