Matt Damon was a guest on first we feast’s Hot Ones video, which also made interesting statements about video games. We always like to see video game-loving celebrities, so damon’s joining them.
Matt Damon was a total Myst fan, even refusing to star in Bourne Conspiracy despite being offered “tons of money” for it.
2008’s Robert Ludlum;s The Bourne Conspiracy is based on the famous Bourne series starring Matt Damon, and most not least The Bourne Identity. But Damon says he doesn’t want to be in an FPS game.
“I didn’t want to do a first-person shooter game. They offered me a lot of money, but I wanted to think about it a little more. I mean, you know, I wanted it to be like Myst. I love that game. And I told them to be more like Myst. They said no to me and they went and did the game without me,” Damon says.
Damon gave some interviews about it after this game came out, but that means he slipped off everyone’s radar at the time. I guess he’s still dreaming of a Myst-style Jason Bourne play.
