Unity Technologies has released its financial results for the second quarter of 2021. Revenue rose 48% year-on-year to $273.6 million. However, the losses are also increasing compared to the first quarter of 2021.
Despite the losses, the company said it was the 11th consecutive quarter in which revenue growth reached 30% or more. It expects to generate between $1.045 billion and $1.06 billion by the end of the year.
Unity Technologies said it aims to grow in non-gaming sectors in the second quarter of 2021, working with automotive manufacturers, consumer brands and environmental company The Nature Conservancy.
In addition to its results for the second quarter of 2021, the company also announced its acquisition of Parsec for $320 million.
