Developer Thomas Happ Games has announced that Axiom Verge 2 is debuting for PC via PlayStation 4, Switch and Epic Games Store. The PlayStation 5 version will be released at a later date.

You may have played the Axiom Verge before or heard that independent “metroidvania” adventures are seen as touchstones. Axiom Verge 2 is an entirely new game with new characters, new powers, new enemies and a new world, although it contains part of the story in Axiom Verge 1. You can play before or after the first game.
