Word heated up that Call of Duty Vanguard would be announced at 8.45pm on August 19. Twitter user @NEXTGEN_ishere’s message was removed with the DMCA warning, but Tom Henderson, a well-known figure in such leaks, said they had confirmed the news from four separate sources.
Accordingly, Call of Duty: Vanguard will indeed be announced next week, but details of this event will be shared with selected media outlets and creators today in a very strict NDA.
Promotional materials prepared ahead of the official announcement of the game have also been leaked, allowing us to see both different editions and open beta plans.
Call of Duty: Vanguard Standard Edition will have Cross-Gen Bundle and Ultimate Edition versions. The images also show images of Lucas, Polina and Wade Operator, as well as a Breacher assault rifle, a Snowstorm sniper rifle and a Thunderhead semi-machine gun.
