Rovio Entertainment has announced the acquisition of all shares of mobile game developer Ruby Games.
Ruby Games is a studio based in Izmir, Turkey. He is best known for hunter assassin, released last year and the sixth most downloaded game of 2020.
Ruby Games has released four new games in 2020 and three so far in 2021. He recently released Streamer Life.
The studio was originally established in 2018 and currently employs 34 people.
Over the past six months, Ruby Games has generated $7.8 million in revenue, according to the announcement.
“It’s exciting to be part of a company that created Angry Birds, one of the world’s most beloved mobile gaming brands, and we’re proud to join Rovio,” ruby games CEO Mert Can Kurum said.
