Developer MossMouth announced that Spelunky and Spelunky 2 will debut for switch via Nintendo eShop on August 26.
Spelunky was first released for PC in December 2008. Then came a remake of Xbox 360 in July 2012, PC in August 2013, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita, and PlayStation 4 in October 2014. Spelunky 2 was released for PlayStation 4 and PC in September.
Spelunky, released by independent producer Mossmouth as a browser game, was first redecorated and moved to the Xbox 360 platform, now on its way to PlayStation 3 and Vita. The biggest feature of the game is that it gives you a challenging experience with a different map structure every time you die.
