I’m sure bethesda officials meet regularly and argue, “oh, Skyrim, I don’t think there’s any platform left, so what do we do, sell more, make up a new version?” At the end of one of these imaginary discussions, it’s not known which one said “the 10th anniversary of the game is coming up, what do you say *copts*”, but Skyrim: Anniversary Edition was announced.
Skyrim: Anniversary Edition is not a free upgrade, of course. Bethesda has not yet announced the price of the game, but special edition owners are told that the “special upgrade” will be the first time the game has been released. they say they’ll offer the option. This means that if you own The Skyrim Special Edition, you will also be able to have the Anniversary Edition in an affordable manner.
So is this Anniversary Edition worth buying? This version includes the Skyrim Special Edition and over 500 Creator Club content. Cc content such as missions, dungeons, bosses, weapons, spells, and so on, you can get it in one package thanks to this version. But if you’re saying the magic of the main game shouldn’t be broken, we can’t say that’s not necessary.
On the same day as anniversary edition, november 11th, a free next-generation update will also be released (it’s not yet unclear if this version will affect the PC), and a new feature will be added to the game: fishing! Yes, now you’ll be able to spend your free time fishing in Skyrim.
You can get detailed information about Skyrim’s 10th year events on its official website.
