The trailer for Fallout: London, released in June, introduced the mode that will carry Fallout 4 to the UK. This was a pretty big project, it had a story the size of a real DLC, and the trailer showed that they took their work extremely seriously.
It seems that this project has excited not only the players, but also the Bethesda administration; Stephanie Zachariadis, the lead writer of Fallout: London, was offered a direct job at Bethesda and now has a role as a duty designer in the studio.
Fallout: The London team is also delighted with this development: “Stephanie was the support pillar of our team and helped create the fantastic and engaging main story and dialogue that we really believed you would like – she will now showcase her skills on the writing board with Todd”
Fallout: London is set in 2237, and the world of the game is quite different from the American-based Fallout. Vault-Tec, for example, is not in the UK, and the Forced Evolutionary Virus has not reached the UK, so no super mutants have appeared.
Zachariadis will no longer be able to contribute to Fallout: London mode because Bethesda has strict rules about it. But the team says he has already “completed everything he needs to do.”
