Studio founder Goichi Suda announced that Grasshopper Manufacturing plans to create three original IP’s over the next 10 years.
Speaking during the IGN Japan “Garden of Madness” No More Heroes III livestream event, Suda said: “We have three original IPs to create in the next 10 years. It’s a 10-year plan. Of course, there are other things beyond that, but right now I have five projects to work on.
I’d like to do something based on Marvel movies. Maybe it’s a game where Shatterstar is the main character. And then there’s Deadpool… One day I really want to be involved in the development of a Marvel game.
I want to strengthen the original IPs in the Grasshopper studio and offer our fans new games to play. So please look forward to us. First, we will focus on making three original games in the next 10 years.”
