Isopowerr, one of the successful and beloved names of the esports world, made special statements to Demirören News Agency (DHA) on many issues from esports to his achievements.

Answering the question “How did you decide to become an esports player”, Isopowerr said, “It wasn’t really an event that I started by making decisions. I was a home gamer like everyone else, and I thought I played well. One day a friend texted me to go to an internet café tournament. So I got into that tournament, and then I won. After he won, the owner of that internet café said it was the esports team. He offered me a place on the team, and I accepted. This is how my esports life started.”

“MY FAMILY HAS ALWAYS BELIEVED IN ME”

Speaking about how his family reacted to him after he became an esports player, Ismail Can said, “My family has always believed in me and supported me in this regard. At first they were a little nervous, but then when the success came and I saw that I wanted to continue, they continued to support me.”

“IT DOESN’T CREATE PRESSURE, IT EVEN MAKES IT A HIT”

Isopowerr noted that being an idol of children and young people does not put pressure on him, but on the contrary, he is much happier and more motivated as a result of receiving such messages.

Isopowerr, who achieved great success by winning a double trophy in the Bitexen TESFED Turkey Cup FIFA21 Tournament organized by the Turkish Esports Federation, said: “I think we are a little behind on FIFA in terms of the tournament again. In fact, I think we could see a lot better things if we had a league that was set up on a regular basis every year, not a tournament. Leagues are already established in many countries and they play regularly every year. This incident is also very important for the development of young FIFA players.”

“OUR NATIONAL TEAM HAS A VERY STRONG SQUAD ON THE FIFA STAGE”

Ismail Can Yer, who is part of the e-National Teams established by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) and competes for Turkey, stated that the national team has a strong squad and said, “Last year we missed the tournament on penalties. I think our national team has a very strong squad on the FIFA stage. I believe that we will be very successful as an e-National Team next year and that we can even bring the cup.”

Isopowerr said he was very happy to be a Red Bull athlete. Getting the support of such a big brand is another motivator for me. Red Bull’s special seminars for its athletes make a nice contribution, we see trainings there from sports psychology to social media and I think this contributes.”

“YOU NEED TO BE MENTALLY STRONG”

Addressing young people who want to become FIFA esports players, Isopowerr concluded: “Especially when it comes to FIFA, it is necessary to be especially strong mentally, staying calm/staying is one of the most important elements, I think for someone who wants to succeed at FIFA. Other than that, they can improve by working hard and watching professional players.”
