Publisher Sold Out and developer Piranha Games announced that they will release MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on September 23. The game will debut alongside downloadable content (DLC) “Heroes of the Inner Sphere”.
PS versions will also support four-player mode and co-op cross-play on existing Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC versions.
Users who do not have downloadable content “Heroes of the Inner Sphere” will be able to experience the entire DLC if they are playing on a server that owns the content.
MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries was first released in December 2019 for PC via epic games store, then via Steam and GOG for Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC in May 2021.
