Last night’s PlayStation Showcase event managed to shake up the gaming world in every sense. When we look back at the games announced and shown in the morning, we see that a very special event is behind us. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was also one of the event’s pupils. We finally saw the first trailer from the game. We even saw Venomas the main villain of the game. Venom wasn’t the only surprise of this announcement. We’ll see another iconic Spider-Man villain, Kravenin Spider-Man 2. Miles and Peter will be very strong as a team, and Insomniac hasn’t used his hand as a coward in enemy selection.
In the trailer, we see Miles Morales and Peter Parker putting on a show in a teamed-up. Until Venom came out! Eddie Brock suddenly managed to steal the whole show. The voice we hear at the beginning of the trailer belongs to Kraven the Hunter! “All I found was a disappointment,” Kraven said, in response to Venom’s exit, paving the way for bizarre scenarios. Let’s leave it as a small note that Peter was wearing a black costume during Kraven’s Last Hunt. In the first game, you see sinister six, doc ock, mister negative, and this time things get a little darker.
The gameplay mechanics of the game, which will debut in 2023, will again be extremely entertaining. But this time it was the story to tell that made me even more excited. It’s going to be a very different experience to go up against both Venom and Kraven with Miles-Peter. There’s probably going to be a lot more Spidey villains in the story. Waiting for this game for at least another two years was undoubtedly the most unpleasant part of this announcement.
