The Young Horses team has moved to a four-day work schedule starting in July, Axios reported. The team of eight employees, together with the advantage of the number, has moved to a new order in order to make the team work more comfortably and efficiently without forcing the workflow. The opening hours are set to be 32 hours a week.
Phil Tibitoski, co-founder and president of Young Horses, said, “We’ve tried to give people an environment where they work more efficiently by doing their own thing in their own time, rather than making them feel guilty for doing different things at work. We know what we have to do and how long, or we’re doing our own program entirely. It was easier for us to implement this functioning because measuring the status of our small team is simpler than in those big studios. We are faster than a studio that has to get support from so many departments and investors,” he said.
It seems like a harder and more arduous job to get into this process in the big studios. However, working efficiently is a much more important phenomenon than spending time.
