Destiny players are about to beat the 10 billion hour record. With 187 million players, the series is heading for a staggering record.
Bungie’s weekly blog post, “This week at Bungie,” shared new data. Community manager Cozmo said destiny and destiny 2; although it did not share clear data, were home to a total of 187 million Guardians. Players have devoted 9.8 billion hours to the games.
This doesn’t give us the number of active players in Destiny 2, but we can see that the game is currently hosting more than 100,000 simultaneous players on Steam. It is possible to say that these figures will increase even more, especially with the Witch Queen DLC.
