Screamfrom the cult horror film series is coming to scare you again in the new world. The film, which has been in preparation for some time, is finally taking concrete steps. With the first poster released from the film, it was enough to excite fans to see ghostface, the iconic face of the series, again. Fans of older films in particular are somewhat skeptical of the film, but promising statements continue to come from the film crew.
Melissa Barrera, who is in the cast of the new Scream film, recently raised expectations by saying, “I’ve seen the latest version of Scream and you’re not ready for it!” The cast also includes names who have previously appeared in Scream films, including Courteney Cox and David Arquette. The next-generation Scream film, directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillet, will be released on January 14, 2022.
