Monster Hunter: Worldwide physical and digital sales exceeded the 20 million threshold. This issue includes Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Master Edition. This is a real success for Capcom and the Monster Hunter series.
Monster Hunter: World 2018 was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in January and PC in August 2018. The Iceborne expansion was introduced to PS4 and Xbox One in 2019 and PC in early 2020.
The game was the best debut for Capcom the month it came out, and now it’s set another record with over 20 million sales.
Another game in the series, Monster Hunter Rise, has already sold 7.5 million on the Nintendo Switch. Considering that the game will also come to PC in January 2022, its sales will probably double.
