The release of Far Cry 6has sparked a lot of controversy. Not only is the game the same and it doesn’t innovate, but in every sense the debate is endless. The cockfights that were included in the series with the sixth game were, in my opinion, one of the most entertaining innovations in the game. The mini-game, in which we choose characters like Mortal Kombat and play fights ourselves, managed to get an immediate reaction. I was expecting such a reaction from PETA;d when I was playing, even PETA is a little late!
PETA’s Latino side alicia aguayo issued a statement to Ubisoft… The general manager, who wants cockfights removed from thegame, said, “Playing in a Mortal Kombat-style way of a horrible blood sport like cockfighting is far from real innovation (Far Cry said here, and it’s a word-of-mouth). The roosters used in these fights are fatally injured. At PETA Latino, we tell Ubisoft to replace these mini-games with something that doesn’t involve murder.” and made their intentions known.
Now, I’d like to add to the awkwardness of the situation by giving you more important information, my dear Gamers. Far Cry 6;inspired Cuban;d cockfights are still classified as legal. So there are no restrictions on cockfighting in our fictional country, Yara;d! There is already a Mortal Kombat-style character screen and fights, but there are not even any drops of blood in these fights. Given that Far Cry is inherently abundant in hunting, there’s no legal or illegal reason for cockfighting to be removed from the game. Peta, animal crossing,I don’t think Ubisoft will listen to this call.
