World of Tanks celebrates the Halloween season with a new operation codenamed Hope and invites players to the mysterious town of Mirny from October 28th. This sci-fi-themed event looks pretty remarkable.

While Mirny was once a very lively industrial town, one day everything changed. A supernatural accident declared an emergency and the entire town was evacuated. As a result, this promising town has become a desolate place. And few of those who volunteered to uncover the town’s secrets made it back.

In this new operation, troops of up to 5 tankers will be looking for the answer to the question “Mirny, what really happened?” Those who manage to defeat the toothed enemy called Immortal will receive delicious gifts. These include the Tier VII Premium American heavy tank King Tiger; as well as the Mirny-inspired 3D Nox Tenebris style.

Operation Hope runs from 28 October to 11 November.
