The Banner Saga is a series that I personally love, so I can write pages and pages of why I love it, which is already written here 🙂 As such, I look forward to stoic studio’s next game. I wonder if they’re going to make a similar kind of play or adopt another style. If there are people like me who are curious, you may notice the allegations about Project Belfry, which may partially satisfy your curiosity.
Jez Corden of Windows Central; Stoic Studio is developing a game on Xbox, he said, while Jeff Grubb has shared some information about the project. Corden says he had heard and shared a game developed a few weeks ago under the codename ‘Belfry’ that would be released exclusively to Xbox, that he had no clear knowledge of the game at the time, but that he also knew that Stoic was in a collaboration with Xbox, but with Jeff Grubb’s post, the pieces were fully in place and now it is clear that Project Belfry is a game developed by Stoic.
Jeff Grubb; He stated that Project Belfry is a side-scrolling action game like Dragon’s Crown, that there is a Princess Mononoke-style art design, that Belfry (or bell tower) will serve as our base, where we can build tools and equipment and improve our equipment.
From what we’ve been told, an interesting game seems to be waiting for us. It’s also possible to conclude that Stoic went into a change of style. But again, I think they have developed a game that has pleasant visuals and can attract attention; I hope they don’t mislead me and another game will be added to the list of games we love. We look forward to the official announcement and are keeping a close eye on it.
