In the news we shared with you last month, we reported thatMarvel’s Avengers has already been offered the opportunity to double experience scores and loot you collect with in-game purchases, even though there have always been explanations to the contrary.
Naturally, this provoked a backlash. The reactions seem to have paid off; because the application is being shelved before the first month.
“We’ve considered your returns, we’ve decided to remove Hero’s Catalysts and Fragment Extractors from sale as of today,” marvel’s Avengers twitter account said.

Although the statement says that “we presented this as an option for the expanding player base, we did not think of it as pay-to-win because they did not offer direct power”, they themselves have acknowledged that the players’ reactions were justified. They were hoping that this step back would help them regain the confidence of the players, and I don’t know how successful they’ll be at that.
In summary, Marvel’s Avengers continues its choppy course, let’s see how it goes from now on.
