Superhero games are very attractive as an idea, but the frustration of not being successfully adapted is equally great. The biggest recent example of this is Marvel’s Avengers. Although Square Enix tries to keep the game alive and bring innovations, it is very unlikely that a game born of such negativity from the beginning will catch the eye of fans. So much so that by the end of this month, PlayStation 4 and 5 users will finally get Spider-Man,but even that may not be enough.

Spider-Man will be included in the game with the next big 2.20 update on November 30. In addition to Spidey, the announced updates include:

Power Level Increase: You will now be able to increase your power level from a maximum of 150 to 175;
Item Upgrades: You will be able to exchange higher levels of items than your existing equipment and use them to improve what you have. (With some exceptions)
Cargoes: Now the cargoes will probably contain premium costumes, albeit a small one. And these costumes won’t just require luck, you’ll automatically get them when you complete 100 cargoes.
Erroneous Hero Missions: Starting with Seeking the Super Adaption mission chain and Klaw Raid: Discordant Sound, you’ll be able to collect these rewards with heroes with every bug open. Previously, this was a hero for every week.

All these updates indicate that the game still does not have the expected endgame content. Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have already made a huge mistake recently, adding a paid experience contribution to the game. Of course, the negative reactions from the fans caused this feature to be quickly removed from the game.

You know, at this point, it’s not the game, spider-man, X-Men and Fantastic Four. Fortunately, Guardians of the Galaxy has learned great lessons from the mistakes of The Avengers. Square Enix officials, who say they have learned great lessons from this game, will hopefully follow the Guardians of the Galaxy formula if they make a Marvel game again.
