ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the ROG NX Mechanical Switch series. This new range of premium keyboard switches is designed for different game styles and preferences of different players.
ROG introduced ROG RX Red and Blue Optical Mechanical Switch models over the past year, and now gives gamers more options with ROG NX Red, NX Brown, and NX Blue Mechanical Switches.
Rog NX Mechanical Switch Series features cross-shaped standard handles that are compatible with most keycaps on the market. The switches, each with different power curves, give a great sense of use. Rog NX Red and NX Brown mechanical switches run and reset at the same point (1.8 mm for NX Red, 2.0 mm for NX Brown), and rog NX Blue mechanical switches have little difference between the operating and reset points (0.1 mm) ROG switches, each operating and reset extremely consistently, provide much better gaming experiences.
The all-new ROG NX Mechanical Switches exceed industry standards with a power tolerance of +/- 5 gf and a keystroke distance of +/- 0.4 mm, providing a consistent feel and unparalleled gaming experiences at every press.
ROG NX Red: Fluid and linear feeling with instant response
ROG NX Red Mechanical Switches react quickly with a 1.8mm start point. These switches require 40 gf of power to start with, preventing accidental pressing of the keys, while the pressing power requirement of up to 55 gf gives an excellent return feeling. As a result, every hit occurs instantly, evoking a fluid and linear feeling.
ROG NX Brown: Balanced design with stronger response
ROG NX Brown Mechanical Switches have a 2mm operating point of choice for brown switch users. With a 58 gf compression power requirement and a 33% click rate, each stroke is more effective and more tactile.
ROG NX Blue: Press power for gamers for robust impact
ROG NX Blue: ROG NX Blue Mechanical Switches feel solid and immersive with a 2.3mm operating point and a standard 16% click-through rate, as well as a 65gf compression power requirement of choice for gamers.
