Thunderful Group added another studio to its roster and acquired Early Morning Studio for an undisclosed sum.
The mobile developer, based in Stockholm, Sweden, is best known for mobile RPG Vampire’s Fall: Origins, as well as Champions of Avan and the upcoming Vendir: Plague of Lies.
The studio will continue to be run by its founders Emir Kuljanin and Kristian Andersson, and all 17 staff will continue to work at the company.
Thunderful recently announced that it will release Super Meat Boy Forever for smart devices while dealing with mobile devices.
According to Group CEO Brjánn Sigurgeirsson, the purpose of this acquisition is to bring more mobile expertise into the business and improve Thunderful’s knowledge of free-to-play games.
