Barcelona Sports Club is preparing to enter the electronic sports arena with League of Legends. Catalan side League of Legends have announced that they will compete in Spain’s top league, the Superliga.
Starting in January 2022, FC Barcelona will compete in the Superliga, the top league in the Spanish League of Legends, the club said. FC Barcelona, Vodafone Giants, UCAM Esports Club, Movistar Riders, G2 Artic and MAD Lions madrid will also compete.
Previously, the team’s stopper Gerard Pique also made his debut in the Superliga for €300,000, buying Astralis Stormbringers.
