When I’m writing the news about Marvel’s Avengers, I’m initially indecisive, thinking about how to make the entrance. Today, in such indecision, I said to myself, let me turn around and see what I wrote in the review. In the final decision section, I said: “There is a game that performs well in story mode and quickly repeats in multiplayer tasks. How your future will be shaped will be directly related to whether they break this re-chain.”
How is it possible to remove the game from this vicious circle? As far as I’m concerned, that’s exactly where Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics are stuck. The only tool that could save the game from this impasse was the subsequent content, additional packages. The most interesting content to date has been War for Wakanda, which is a question mark over how successful he is at reviving interest in the game. So, eyes are turned to the Spider-Man add-on. But the news from there obviously doesn’t give me any hope that it will lead to such a serious movement in player numbers, at least it made me think about it, I don’t know what you guys will think.

The fact that Spider-Man content was ps4 and PS5 exclusive content was already narrowing the audience it appealed to. It was also announced that there would be no story missions in this additional package. Previously, kate bishop, hawkeye and black panther characters were added, each of them had scripted tasks, albeit briefly, but they obviously didn’t need to create such a script mode for Spider-Man; There will be only Avengers Initiative multiplayer missions. They’re going to show the story with audio recordings and intersecting.
It’s been a long time since many actors have already cut ties with the Avengers. Updates and additional packages are the only tools available to win new players and bring the old ones back into the game. With limited content in it, the result is not expected to be very positive. However, let me not comment too negatively, perhaps there are those who are looking forward to Spider-Man coming to the game; They’ll get the update they’ve been waiting for on November 30th.
