It was only a matter of time before the irrational increase in the exchange rate in recent days was reflected in the prices of games and consoles, and unfortunately we saw the first example of this on Xbox Series consoles.
When Xbox Series first entered the market, the price was announced as 9300 lira due to the additional customs duties imposed on the consoles, and then the price of both the PlayStation 5;in and xbox series X was reduced to 8300 liras.
At the beginning of the year, prices were finalized, with the tax falling from 50% to 20%; and the Xbox Series X 7500 and Xbox Series S started selling for $4,900.
It’s sad if these two consoles have higher current prices. According to prices at official merchants accessible from the Xbox website, Xbox Series X is now £9,500, while the xbox series S;’s new price is £5,600. In other words, Xbox Series X received a raise of 2000 liras and Xbox Series S received a 700 lira increase.
We’ll probably see the same increase on the PlayStation 5, which will cost over $9,000. No comment.
