Chrono Cross debuted for PlayStation in 1999 and was a self-made game. If the leaks are true, it’ll be remade soon.
There has beena leak from Nvidia in recent months , you may remember. There were a lot of games on that list, a list commentary that was too good to be true, even 🙂 Then we saw announcements of some games from this list. As a result, there was an expectation for the rest of the list.
Earlier this month, VGC announced that PlayStation would announce a remake of a ‘big game’ over the Christmas period, which we reported. The source of the story was Irish songwriter and singer Eabha McMahon (AVA); she explained, “We are preparing music for a remake of a PlayStation game.” There were various predictions for this game; Some thought it might be Metal Gear Solid or Silent Hill.
Xbox Era’s Nick Baker suggests that, contrary to previous estimates, this game is Chrono Cross Remastered. Baker said: “I’m not “Chrono Cross Remastered was also included in the leaked list from Nvidia, so it shouldn’t be a big surprise. I’m told the game mentioned in VGC’s report is Chrono Cross Remastered. Another information I’ve been given is that the game will not be exclusive to PlayStation, contrary to the general assumption. I was told that the game would be multi-platform.”
The date the game will be announced is Christmas. But PlayStation or any other company doesn’t have a scheduled event on these dates. You never know, maybe we’ll see him at the TGA 2021 ceremony, huh? In any case, we can say that another remake announcement is coming soon.
