As I mentioned in unforgettable Soundtracks: Bioshock Infinite – You Belong To Me, the Bioshock series is one of my favorite series, and I am looking forward to the new game. I’ve always been interested in the alternative world fiction of the series, those fictional cities. I was very pleased with the adventures we had in The Columbia, both in rapture and sky. If the leaks prove true, we’ll be on our way to an imaginary city in Antarctica.
Colin Moriarty says in a program that the new BioShock game will be set in an imaginary Antarctic city in the 1960s. The VGC also points out that the information they receive from their sources coincides with this claim. Moriarty adds that the game’s story will be linked to previous games, and that cloud chamber, the developer team, aims to release the game in 2022.
Moriarty said: “I’m not going to let you “The game is set in an Antarctic city called borealis in the 1960s. The code name of the game is ‘Parkside’. The developer team is said to have been freed as much as possible to do the job properly. I think it’s a good decision. The process of developing the game is carried out quite discreetly. Apparently, they understand very well that this game will be compared to the game made by BioShock creator Ken Levine. Take-Two, meanwhile, will release Levine’s new play.”
Although the new game is being developed by a different studio, the names who took part in the first games are also involved in this project. Therefore, it is possible to say that an effort has been made to preserve the spirit of BioShock. We’ll see how successful they can be in this regard, and we’ll see about that together next year, if these claims are true and we can meet BioShock 4 in 2022.
