Long before the Marvel Cinematic Universe went into series business with Disney+, we watched series of street-level heroes on Netflix. Daredevil, who was a pioneer among them and, to me, the most successful, seemed inevitable to try his luck at the MCU. The introduction of The Echo along with hawkeye, No Way Home; a sea of possibilities, finally gave Matt Murdock the green light. Big boss Kevin Feige has confirmed that Daredevil will be featured in the MCU by Charlie Cox as well as on the show.
“If you see Daredevil in the future, it’ll be Charlie Cox. Only time will tell where and when we will see him.” Feige confirmed Marvel’s favorite lawyer. With a She-Hulk series on the horizon, there’s been an increase in the number of lawyers at the MCU. This good news from Feige brought with it a lot of fan theories. It’s quite possible that we’ll see Matt Murdock as Daredevil, especially in No Way Home, which we’re watching 10 days from now. And don’t be surprised if Daredevil shows up in the post-credits scene while things get hooked up to Echo at the end of Hawkeye.
While there is no solo series or film project for Daredevil on the horizon, our eyes will now be on Daredevil, especially in the works set in New York and especially hell;s kitchen. What I’m really looking forward to with Charlie Cox is that echo; as his uncle, kingpin; vincent d;onofrio, he enters the MCU. Then there will be a more exciting MCU for both Daredevil, Spider-Man and the entire new York community. When you say space, multiverse, turning into street-level heroes like that is a blessing for comic book readers like me.
