We all miss the movie theaters that were closed for a long time due to the coronavirus pandemic. Even the audience, which has become tired with the release of a new superhero movie every week in recent years, has shown a lot of interest in Shang-Chi after the pandemic. Thanks to this interest, the second film in the series was soon approved.
Disney has signed Daniel Cretton, the writer and director of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, on a long-term contract, Deadline claims. Cretton will work on multiple projects and will first start filming a sequel to Shang-Chi.
But Cretton’s path seems to be on Disney+ later. With this agreement signed by the director, Disney will expect new side series and new projects from itself.
