HBO’s the latest in a string of series, The Last of Us, continues to develop. Sony is preparing to gradually bring PlayStation games to the screen; its best hopes depend on the Uncharted film and Last of Us. HBO has made great symapps to the show so far. Pedro Pascal (Joel) and Bella Ramsey (Ellie) were chosen for the lead roles. Murray Bartlett was later chosen to play Frank. The show’s latest good news came when Nick Offerman was chosen to play Bill.

Offerman, who we will also remember as Ron Swanson in Parks and Receation, has a very long history. Bill, who also has a special place in the game series, was undoubtedly our favorite scene, where he gave us nail bombs and taught us how to make them. Although he and Ellie have occasionally broken down, Bill’s version of the series will feature plenty of fun scenes, especially with Nick acting. We look forward to the script, written by Chernobyl’s chief creator Craig Mazin. Unfortunately, no official release date has yet been announced for the series.
