Crystal Pixel Deadline Extended to December 15

 

 

The deadline for applying for the Crystal Pixel Video Game Awards, which have been held since 2012 to identify and reward games with original intellectual property developed in Turkey, has been extended from December 9th to December 15th due to intense interest.

 

Crystal Pixel Video Game Awards 2021 award ceremony will be held on December 25, 2021 at 16:00 at YTU Yıldız Teknopark.

 

Crystal Pixel 2021 is organized in partnership with Turkish Game Developers Association (TOGED), T.C. Ministry of Culture and Tourism General Directorate of Copyrights, Yildiz Technical University, YTU Yıldız TEKNOPARK, Hacettepe University, Hacettepe Teknokent, Bahçeşehir University Game Laboratory (BUG Lab), METU TEKNOKENT Animation Technologies and Game Development Center (ATOM), The Game Circle and METU GATES.

Crystal Pixel aims to encourage the development of more domestic games by bringing game developers and digital games in Turkey to the attention of the public and industry. In line with this goal, applications will be evaluated by an elite jury consisting of important figures from the gaming world, the media and the academic community.

The games are; They will compete in 11 different categories, including the best mobile, PC, console, VR game of the year, best auditory art, best narrative and best visual art.

Developers applying for Crystal Pixel must have intellectual property rights to the game they have stated in their application and the game must be released on any platform between November 2, 2020 and December 9, 2021. The competition is open to Turkish developers operating at home or abroad and foreign developers residing in Turkey.
