Activision received a new Wave of Call of Duty bans yesterday, with 48,000 more accounts across Warzone and Vanguard. More than 500,000 players have been permanently banned from Warzone since March 2020, according to a statement last August.
This new wave of bans comes after Warzone’s kernel-level anti-cheat technology was introduced globally. The same technology will be activated for Vanguard later. Because this drive runs at kernel level, it has access to all the resources in your system so that it can easily detect even the most hidden cheating software used. This driver also monitors other apps that work with games and can find apps that are capable of manipulating the game.
This drive is a must to be able to play Warzone, but it only starts when you start the game and shuts itself down completely as soon as you leave the game.
