Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. announced today that castlevania: Grimoire of Souls has received its second major update, Winter Holiday, following its Halloween theme in October. This winter update comes for free through Apple’s popular gaming subscription service Apple Arcade, which offers unlimited access to a growing collection of more than 200 premium games.

The update adds two new magic books (Grimoire) to the game and gives players a brand new story to enjoy.
As the chaos of the spell books grew stronger, dangerous monsters reappeared. Alucard, a new Grimoire era begins for its new ally and friends! Maria and Alucard, now a grown-up young woman, will reunite with Shanoa and Albus to further strengthen their timeless bond. Meanwhile, they will be greeted by Hermina, a former Member of the Organization, and Soma Cruz, who has succumbed to darkness. Under the guidance of fate, the story of Vital Souls becomes even darker.
Both Maria Renard and Albus will be added to Alter Arts as players progress through the new Grimoire of Souls storyline!
After Halloween in October, the Grimoire of Souls has now been added to the ‘Winter Holiday’ Season Layout. Winter Break promises players brand new winter-themed levels to compete with. As with the previous update, Winter Break is not limited to this period and has been added to the game permanently. Winter Holiday themed coins and very special costumes, weapons and armor are also waiting for you!
Finally, this update includes an introductory bonus for a new game that runs from December 17, 2021 to January 15, 2022. By launching the game during the campaign period, players will receive a total of 14 additional rewards; players who log in 14 times during this time will receive all prizes.
Apple Arcade offers users a month’s free trial. The service is also part of Apple One’s Individual, Family and Premier monthly plans with a one-month free trial.
